Ralphs Grocery was facing pressing deadlines and needed help executing an in-store promotion that introduced the Ralphs/Tyson cash award promotion featuring $500 daily give-aways and a $10,000 grand prize. In response to these challenges, NHaK wasted no time creating a complete POS package within budget and on time. Promoting the purchase of Ralphs deli fried chicken and the Ralphs Club Card throughout all California stores, the POS package increased deli traffic as shoppers followed the trail of “chicken feet” from the front of the store right up to the deli counter. Once the shopper arrived at the deli, a complete set of graphics helped promote the contest, the fried chicken, and the club card. Commercial screen printers Morrison & Burke provided food friendly banner and placard substrates for behind-the-counter displays. NHaK developed a cartoon mascot for the promotion, which appeared cross media to promote the contest including repeated appearances in all Ralphs print advertising for the duration of the promotion.
